Castelló: a City Between sea and Mountains

A few days ago we presented you with a photo gallery of three villages in the province of Castellón, and today we will showcase the capital of this region: Castelló de la Plana. Located between the sea and the mountains, this city has a total of approximately 180,000 inhabitants and a superb quality of life.

Driving a few minutes away from the city center, you can enjoy clean and quiet beaches with several beach bars – the perfect place to spend hot summer afternoons. But if you are more of a more mountain-lover, you can also visit the natural park Desert de les Palmes and climb to the summit of Penyagolosa, the second highest peak in the autonomous community of Valencia at 1,813 meters above sea level.

If you want to spend some time relaxing, I suggest that you visit this beautiful city!
